Pomelo Care seeks a data scientist to lead health economics analyses and outcomes assessment. You will influence payer negotiations, design evidence at scale, and publish findings with diverse audiences.

You will build data pipelines, mentor teammates, and shape methodologies to measure impact across pregnancy, pediatrics, and women's health. This remote US role offers strong growth and equity.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with statistical models in healthcare.
• Experience with cost of care targets or ROI in payer settings.
• Experience presenting analyses to non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in Python or R and SQL.
• Formal training in statistics, econometrics, or actuarial science.

Responsibilities

• Own the analysis from question framing to presentation.
• Architect scalable analyses of program outcomes.
• Lead external partner engagements on methodology.
• Drive evidence strategy: reporting, conferences, publications.
• Build data tables, pipelines, and dashboards from diverse sources.
• Identify opportunities to scale insights with analytics teams.
• Be Pomelo's expert on statistics and health economics.
