About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Product to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our exchange platform. This individual will be responsible for driving innovation, overseeing product development, and ensuring our platform delivers best-in-class trading experiences for both retail and institutional clients.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in electronic trading, understands the competitive landscape of modern exchanges, and possesses strong technical acumen. They should be comfortable leading complex projects, collaborating with engineering teams, and leveraging data to inform product decisions. A background in fixed income markets is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and execute the product roadmap for the exchange platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and market opportunities.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive movements, and regulatory changes to drive innovation and compliance.
  • Develop a long-term vision for market structure, liquidity solutions, and execution quality improvements.

Product Development & Execution

  • Partner with engineering, design, and data science teams to develop scalable and high-performance trading solutions.
  • Lead the development of execution algorithms, order routing logic, and liquidity optimization strategies.
  • Ensure system resilience, scalability, and security while maintaining low-latency performance.

Financial & Quantitative Expertise

  • Utilize a strong understanding of financial mathematics to guide pricing models, risk frameworks, and market microstructure decisions.
  • Develop and refine analytics tools for market monitoring, trade execution analysis, and client insights.
  • Work closely with quants and engineers to enhance trade execution quality, and risk management.
  • Ensure all trading products and platform functionalities comply with regulatory requirements (SEC, FINRA, MiFID, etc.) and proactively address emerging compliance risks.
  • Implement risk controls, circuit breakers, and surveillance tools to monitor market activity, prevent abuse, and enhance platform integrity

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Act as a bridge between business, technology, and regulatory teams to ensure smooth execution of product initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers and analysts, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Engage with clients, institutional partners, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and refine the product roadmap.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on electronic trading, brokerage, or exchange platforms.
  • Strong technical background – ability to work closely with engineers, understand APIs, market data feeds, and low-latency infrastructure.
  • Deep knowledge of order types, execution algorithms, market structure, and trading workflows.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills – ability to interpret data, design experiments, and make data-driven product decisions.
  • Familiarity with key industry players (e.g., Robinhood, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, eToro) and regulatory frameworks (SEC, , FINRA, MiFID, etc.)

Preferred:

  • Background in fixed income trading, market-making, or portfolio execution.
  • Experience with derivatives, structured products, or alternative asset trading platforms.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, C++, Rust or other programming languages.
  • Understanding of risk management models and financial mathematics.
