Job summary

Centene Corporation in Missouri is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer Manager to lead an analytics engineering team, design scalable data models, and ensure certified datasets support enterprise decision-making and AI enablement.

You will mentor engineers, drive dbt adoption, govern data quality, and partner with data science, product, and business leaders to translate requirements into reusable data products across Snowflake, SQL, and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of related experience.
• Equivalent experience reflecting senior analytics engineering level.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing analytics engineering team.
• Translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
• Define best practices for data modeling, transformation, and delivery.
• Drive adoption of modern analytics engineering tools, incl. dbt.
• Oversee analytics-ready data models and reliable data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL and dbt.
• Promote reusable, modular, well-documented code across the team.
• Collaborate with data science and AI teams to support model training and deployment.
• Implement data governance, metadata, and data lineage.
• Communicate findings and roadmaps to senior leadership.
