Job summary

Electrify is hiring a Guide Editor for The Rundown, a top AI education channel. You will own guide edits from raw footage to final delivery, including motion graphics, screen callouts, audio cleanup, pacing, and visual polish.

This remote contract role starts at 1–2 guides weekly and can ramp to 3–5 with consistent quality and timely delivery. You will collaborate with our education team, use Premiere Pro and After Effects, and work with Frame.io, Descript, and Slack to ensure clear

Qualifications

• Portfolio of educational, product-demo, SaaS, or YouTube tutorial work.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and strong After Effects for motion graphics.
• Proficient with Dynamic Link, MOGRTs, Media Encoder, Frame.io, Slack, and Descript for review.
• Experience combining presenter footage, screen recordings, and motion graphics.
• Strong judgment on pacing, clarity, and visual hierarchy in tutorials.
• Strong quality control for audio, color, spelling, and visuals.
• A workstation and internet connection capable of 4K renders.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Edit talking-head and screen-share recordings into concise tutorials.
• Tighten cuts by removing dead air, repetitions, and detours without losing steps.
• Create motion graphics openings, text animations, and callouts in After Effects.
• Polish edits with color, audio cleanup, and final QC before export.
• Follow guide briefs and brand references; flag unclear instructions or missing assets.
• Deliver on schedule and prepare final master in requested format.
• Manage project files and relinkable assets with clear naming conventions.
• Communicate progress and any delays openly in Slack.
