Mercor is seeking a Gravitation, Cosmology and Astrophysics Physicist (PhD) for a remote contract assignment lasting 8 to 10 weeks, with a commitment of 10 hours per week. You will evaluate AI model training, develop physics problems for model evaluation, and provide feedback to improve data quality.

Strong publications and Python-based tooling are expected. Must hold a PhD in a related field, have verifiable publications, and be proficient in LaTeX, Python, SymPy, and Jupyter, with English at

Competenze

• PhD in gravitation, cosmology, astroparticle physics, or a closely related field.
• Publications on phenomena such as torsion, Nieh‑Yan, or Chern‑Simons terms.
• Verifiable publication record with arXiv IDs or DOIs.

• English at B2 or above, including written reasoning.
