Job summary

Lyntris is seeking a Graphic Designer to create high-fidelity 2D graphics and motion graphics for Navy IMI programs. You will collaborate with ISDs, software engineers and 3D artists to design, develop and deploy training software and ensure cohesive user experiences across platforms.

The role requires a portfolio demonstrating core graphic design competencies; knowledge of Captivate and Unity is beneficial. Remote-friendly with a pay range described below.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communication and ability to present concepts clearly.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with designers and developers to implement ideas.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Specialization in producing high-fidelity 2D graphics.
• Craft motion graphics and ensure implementation by software engineers is solid.
• Design for desktop-based and/or tablet-based UIs.
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with software engineers and other stakeholders.
• Illustrate design ideas to product stakeholders using mockups as needed.
• Provide feedback to software engineers as designs are implemented to ensure user experience is cohesive and accurate.
• Regularly workshop efforts with the Creative Director and the Creative Operations team to maintain a cohesive design and user experience of the digital product.
• Leverage design thinking and questioning techniques to develop strategies where pathways are not clear.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
