Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong visual communication and design skills.
• Be a current, in-good-standing GCU student in a related field.
• Provide a portfolio or design samples for review.
• Proficient with graphic design software and print/digital workflows.

Responsibilities

• Create graphic design materials for events, programs, campaigns.
• Translate project needs into clear, engaging designs.
• Develop digital and print materials (social graphics, flyers, posters, signage, emails).
• Follow brand guidelines and established design systems.
• Collaborate with MAD Team and Student Engagement staff.
• Participate in design reviews and apply feedback.
• Prepare final design files for digital/print, with proper formatting.
• Maintain organized design files and assets.
• Adapt existing designs to different sizes/formats.
• Communicate progress and deadlines with coordinators.
• Manage multiple assignments and prioritize deadlines.
• Build portfolio-ready work through real-world projects.
