Hanover Research is seeking a Grants Research Associate for a part-time temporary remote role. You will identify funding sources aligned with client projects, manage deadlines, and produce client-ready deliverables with guidance from Grants Consultants.

Qualifications

• Experience writing and researching for an academic audience.

• Strong communication, fact-checking, writing, and editing skills in English.
• Interest in prospect research, fundraising strategy, grant writing, and the organizations served.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work quickly and independently with minimal guidance.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrable problem-solving skills and work ethic.
• Proven academic achievement.
• Comfort with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint; MS Power BI preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and select funding sources aligned with client projects.
• Manage tight deadlines to create prospecting reports and other deliverables on time.
• Demonstrate understanding of clients' needs and goals of projects.
• Independently create client-ready deliverables with minimal oversight.
• Collaborate with Content Directors and Grants Consultants to refine project scopes.
• Explore creative solutions for preparing content and delivering to clients efficiently.
• Represent Hanover alongside colleagues in articulating findings from research.
