Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ability to work with others and communicate effectively, including with respect to presentations and report writing, is essential.
  • Ability to travel for project workshops is required.
  • Prior research and experience with effective community organizing and event planning, particularly with respect to centering equity, nature-based solutions, and climate resilience and preparedness issues is strongly preferred.
  • Prior qualitative and quantitative research experience is strongly preferred, including psychosocial survey development, administration, and analysis; effective data management, and record of publication.
  • We seek self-directed and motivated individuals to move this project forward and effectively support the Center’s vision and mission in collaboration with the Antioch PI.
  • Additional qualifications include organizational, project, and time management skills, flexibility, strong intercultural and interpersonal awareness and skills, the capacity to work independently, and the ability to network with local government decision makers, community-based organization members, residents, and other ENACTS researchers.
  • Reliable access to a personal computer, with the Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel) and Adobe software (PDF) packages, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in designing, implementing and analyzing stakeholder behavioral change research methods (pre- and post-workshop surveys); (3 hours/week)
  • Collaborate in conducting social network analysis; (2 hours/week)
  • Collaborate in implementing half-day Community Resilience workshops in each of the three Living Hubs, including participant recruitment and day-of delivery; (2.5 hours/week)
  • Collaborate on preparing manuscripts for peer review, based on semi-structured interviews, CRW1 and 2 activities, findings, and digitization of assets; (2.5 hours/week)
  • Mobilize and manage project stakeholder engagement, including collaboration with Living Hub research team members from ENACTS partner higher ed institutions, identifying and engaging Living Hub community participants/NbS decision makers; (2.5 hours/week)
  • Collaborate in developing presentations and reports on the team’s work for the ENACTS team and others; (.5 hours/week)
  • Oversee GRA in developing and sharing with AUNE Comms team narrative description and photo image documenting project activities relevant for social media; (.5 hours/week) and
  • Participate in weekly Antioch team meetings and periodic ENACTS team meetings from September 2026 to May 2027. (1.5 hours/week)
