KBR is seeking a GNC Engineer to support design, development, testing, and real-time operation of advanced aerospace systems. This remote role bridges engineering development and flight execution, requiring deep technical depth and clear decision-making under pressure.

The ideal candidate has flight dynamics, control systems, software interaction, and operational experience, with limited travel to onsite locations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years in GNC or related aerospace field.
• Strong background in orbital mechanics / astrodynamics.
• Experience with guidance, navigation, and control algorithms.
• Experience with flight software or embedded systems in real-time environments.
• U.S. Citizenship required; TS/SCI preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and integrate GNC system components and architecture.
• Analyze and verify guidance, navigation, and control algorithms.
• Review flight software design for performance, robustness, and operability.
• Evaluate system behavior across mission phases (ascent, on-orbit, entry).
• Support real-time operations and anomaly resolution.
• Define requirements for monitoring and commanding GNC subsystems.
• Develop operator displays and telemetry usage strategies.
• Participate in testing, simulations, and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
