Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Director, Strategic Supply Chain Management to act as the global focal point for inventory, continuity and productivity across defined segments. You will lead cross‑functional teams to ensure flawless new product introductions and reliable deliveries.

This remote role requires extensive SCM leadership, strategic execution, and strong stakeholder management with customers and suppliers, aiming to optimize TCOO and align with corporate growth targets.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of an EMS manufacturing environment, materials and processes.
• Understanding of global supply chains in the EMS sector.
• Strong knowledge in import/export, regulatory and logistics management.
• Analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills.
• Robust understanding of total cost of ownership optimization.

Responsibilities

• Maintains responsibility for all customers in a defined global segment.
• Define and implement a supply chain strategy with lowest TCOO.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements and growth plans.
• Advise the SCM process from pricing to delivery execution and sourcing quotes.
• Lead supply chain analysis for bids and BOM costing exercises.
• Collaborate to optimize design for supply chain performance.
• Support commodity management in contract negotiations.
• Participate in quarterly business reviews with customers and key suppliers.
• Provide input on supplier interaction and commodity strategies.
• Communicate regularly with customers on demand and future changes.
