Comunidade Metodista seeks a Financial News Analyst/Editor to join a remote, independent contractor team. You will analyze real-time market developments, produce online commentary, and prepare research briefs for major equities and macro events.

A fast-paced setting requires clear communication and strong analytical skills. Ideal candidates will have extensive equities experience, cross-asset knowledge, and the ability to deliver concise insights under tight deadlines.

Qualificações

• 3-5 years of Equities experience as a Buy-Side or Sell-Side Trader.
• Minimum of 5 years of overall financial experience.
• Cross-asset class knowledge, including understanding how news flow impacts various markets.

Responsabilidades

• Produce written and online audio commentaries on overall market behavior, economic data, and related events.
• Prepare research reports covering central bank decisions, government bond auctions, and major earnings announcements.
• Monitor economic trends across global equity indices, options, FX, and commodity markets.
• Generate daily and weekly research reports and calendars.
