Job summary

CommScope Inc. is seeking an Import Trade Compliance Analyst for the North American region. The role supports post entry review, country of origin rules, and customs valuation regulations, with a focus on U.S.

import compliance and related activities. This position is US remote. You will work with Customer Service, Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Product Line Management to ensure regulatory adherence, manage tariff questions, licenses, and HTS classifications, and stay current on

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher in international trade, business, or technical field.
Experience in international trade compliance is preferred.
Formal Import/Export training or certifications beneficial.
Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.

Responsibilities

Provide daily trade compliance support to cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with U.S. import regulations.
Address tariff questions under Sec 232, Sec 301, and other applicable items.
Manage licenses and reporting such as AD/CVD, Census Warnings, and UOM.
Handle Origin Determination Rules and HTS classification.
Develop and maintain desk-level procedures within Trade Compliance.
Stay updated on regulations through government publications and training.
Analyze import activities to identify risks and improve controls.
Retain import entry documentation per 19 CFR record-keeping requirements.
