Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source powerhouse seeking a Head of Global Equity Administration to establish and lead our equity function from the ground up. The role will design and implement global equity programs, ensure cap table integrity, and guide the company through a transition to a public-company-ready setup.

The ideal candidate thrives in a complex transition, values precision, and applies AI thoughtfully to scale operations while maintaining data integrity and strong controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in stock administration or equity compensation.
• Experience building and scaling an equity function in a high-growth firm.
• Experience with IPO readiness and public company operations.
• Knowledge of ASC 718 and internal controls.
• Experience across multiple countries and jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the stock administration function, including policies, processes, controls, and systems.
• Lead the transition from a legacy equity platform to a scalable, public-company-ready system, including vendor selection and data migration.
• Own cap table integrity and equity data accuracy during the transition and beyond.
• Design, implement, and manage global equity compensation programs (e.g., stock options, RSUs, ESPP readiness).
• Oversee the full equity lifecycle: grants, vesting, exercises, cancellations, terminations, modifications, settlements.
