Job summary

FoodChain ID is seeking a Director of Software Engineering to lead global engineering teams and shape our cloud-based SaaS strategy. You will drive delivery across multiple product lines, partner with product and architecture leaders, and set standards for Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and scalable architectures.

You will mentor engineering leaders, establish KPIs/OKRs, manage budgets, and influence technical direction with executive leadership.

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience.
5+ years leading engineering teams.
Experience building and delivering cloud-based SaaS applications (AWS/Azure).
Expertise in Agile software development, DevOps, CI/CD, microservices, and modern software architecture.
Proven ability to build, coach, and inspire high-performing engineering teams.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
Experience with AI/ML technologies or regulated industries is a plus.

Drive the technical execution of our SaaS product portfolio while aligning engineering priorities with business objectives.
Partner with Product Management, Architecture, and other leaders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Champion engineering best practices, Agile development, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native technologies.
Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering leaders while supporting career growth across the organization.
Establish KPIs and OKRs to measure team performance, delivery quality, and operational excellence.
Manage engineering budgets, resource planning, and organizational growth.
