Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Manager of Data Science to lead an international team of data scientists and ML practitioners. You will drive AI/ML model development, experimentation, deployment, and prompt-engineered solutions embedded in Westinghouse digital products.

You will report to the Director, AI Data Infrastructure and work remotely, collaborating with D&I leaders to advance the digital roadmap and improve safety, growth, and efficiency across the business.

Qualifications

• Management experience leading international data science teams.
• Familiarity with nuclear and energy industries.
• Experience with model development, experimentation frameworks and MLOps.
• B.S. degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the data science team in developing, evaluating, and deploying AI/ML models and generative AI solutions.
• Promote the D&I vision with Digital and Innovation leaders and drive the digital roadmap.
• Ensure models are production-ready and benchmarked against performance criteria.
• Train team members responsible for model deployment and monitoring in production.
• Establish best practices for experimentation, validation, reproducibility and responsible AI.
