Job summary

BCD Meetings & Events, a global meetings and events agency, is hiring a Global Ancillary Meeting Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing for ancillary meetings linked to congresses. This remote role is based in the UK or Spain.

You will identify venues, negotiate with suppliers, issue RFPS via Cvent, and maintain sourcing documentation while collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure high-performance meeting programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Experience sourcing Congress/ancillary meetings preferred.
• Degree or equivalent professional experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing activity for ancillary meetings from brief through handoff to operations.
• Source venues, meeting space, hotel accommodations, and related suppliers based on client needs.
• Develop and distribute RFPs through sourcing tools including Cvent, evaluate proposals, and prepare bid grids, comparisons, and recommendation summaries.
• Negotiate pricing, concessions, terms, and contract conditions while reviewing key commercial terms, cancellation clauses, attrition exposure, and risk areas.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and sourcing records while supporting forecasting, room block performance tracking, and continuous process improvement.
