Job summary

YO AI Labs seeks a GitHub Contributor on a contract basis. You will produce high-quality code samples, help debug complex issues, and share development insights across Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.

You will analyze diverse codebases, refactor for clarity and performance, document reasoning behind decisions, and review peer submissions to ensure accuracy. Remote work with flexible collaboration across product teams and AI research groups.

Qualifications

• Expert-level coding samples, debugging strategies, and development insights across multiple languages.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Track record of delivering high-impact features from conception through delivery in cross-functional projects.
• Strong documentation and communication skills to clearly articulate technical concepts.
• Interest in AI and its technical challenges; prior AI experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute expert-level code samples, debugging strategies, and development insights in Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software defects and performance bottlenecks in diverse codebases.
• Implement robust new features with scalability, maintainability, and best practices.
• Refactor and optimize legacy code to improve clarity, efficiency, and long-term reliability.
• Document technical reasoning, solution approaches, and code decisions to enhance AI training data quality.
• Review and validate peer-contributed code and technical submissions for accuracy and clarity.
