Qualifications
- 3+ years in GIS or similar role.
- Experience with GIS mapping, data management and metadata creation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication and customer relations skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, prepare, and process GIS information for Chesapeake Utilities.
- Edit and update GIS mapping, databases, layers, and related files.
- Ensure accuracy of gas distribution system records and support replacement programs.
- Create, convert, translate, migrate, and import GIS data from various sources.
- Perform data editing, quality control, and analysis on digital map data.
- Integrate other asset management programs into the GIS and develop QA procedures.
