Job summary

Rivet Operations Company is seeking a Senior GIS Software QA Engineer to support a U.S. Army program. You will test GIS applications, validate complex datasets, and ensure automated tools produce accurate, repeatable results.

The role focuses on ArcGIS-based tools, Real Property data workflows, automated validation, and geospatial web apps used by Army personnel. Collaboration with GIS specialists and developers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience developing and executing software test plans for GIS software.
• Strong Esri ArcGIS knowledge and hands‑on QA experience with GIS apps.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases for GIS applications and automated workflows.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and data validation testing to identify defects.
• Test ArcGIS Pro tools, geoprocessing workflows, data validation processes, and automated reporting solutions.
• Validate spatial data integrity, geodatabase attributes, and relationships between GIS and Real Property records.
• Test automated Real Property Unique Identifier (RPUID) corrections and exception reporting.
• Document defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
