Job summary

JSI is seeking a GIS Developer to join the Information Technology team in a remote capacity. You will configure and customize the Intelli-Fiber platform using ArcGIS, design and support geospatial applications, and ensure system reliability and security.

You'll collaborate across teams, handle spatial data management, and contribute to continuous improvement in client-focused solutions. Strong ArcGIS experience and a BS in a related field are required.

Qualifications

Experience with ArcGIS or GIS platforms and geospatial technologies.
Familiarity with software development methodologies and lifecycle.
Understanding of large-scale system integration concepts.
Strong written and verbal communication across teams.
Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain geospatial applications and the Intelli-Fiber platform.
Leverage ArcGIS and GIS technologies to manage spatial data and maps.
Support DevOps, change management, and service management processes.
Troubleshoot issues and ensure reliability, security, and performance.
Collaborate with project teams to deliver business objectives.
Stay current on GIS trends and promote knowledge sharing.
