Job summary

Handshake is looking for skilled QGIS users to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. You'll draw on hands-on GIS experience to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that helps AI better understand GIS tasks and spatial data workflows.

This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity you can take on alongside other commitments. Location: fully remote in the United States with a flexible, asynchronous schedule; many contributors work about 5–20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with QGIS.
• Solid knowledge of GIS concepts, spatial analysis, and geospatial data workflows.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and follow written guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance to real-world GIS workflows.
• Create tool-related questions and provide feedback to improve AI outputs.
