Job summary

Neara is seeking a Payroll Implementation Manager – Germany to serve as the payroll SME for German payroll implementations. You will partner with a Payroll Project Manager to drive country-specific activities from discovery through go-live, ensuring compliance with German legislation and best practices.

You will be the internal authority on German payroll, providing expert guidance to customers, Sales, Product, Engineering and Payroll Operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience processing and implementing German payroll.
• Extensive hands-on experience with German payroll software.
• Fluency in German and English; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the SME for German payroll implementations.
• Lead discovery workshops, advise on legislation and best practices.
• Validate payroll configuration with Product and Engineering.
• Lead testing, parallel runs and payroll validation.
• Own Germany implementation playbooks and documentation.
