Mercor is seeking a Music Audio Expert - German for a remote contract engagement in the United States. Immediate start with up to 6 months duration, and 10+ hours per week.

The role focuses on evaluating AI-generated lyrics and music outputs, scoring training data quality, and producing domain-language music in German and English. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in music production/audio work, a college degree in music, and native or near-native German and English skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer.
• College degree in music, involving performance, theory and lyrics.
• Native or near-native proficiency in German and English.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate AI output lyrics, voice generation, and other standards across music categories.
• Score the quality of musical training data to enhance model performance.
• Write music in the domain language listed in the title, ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Understand and follow directions in English for effective collaboration.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
