Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to support complex SEPA environmental review processes and coordinate input across programs.
• Ability to analyze federal, state, and local regulations and synthesize information.
• Ability to analyze environmental data and develop evidence-based recommendations.
• Experience coordinating multi‑agency collaboration among state, federal, Tribal, and local partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead geothermal energy planning and policy efforts within Ecology’s SEA program.
• Guide cross‑agency collaboration and deliver legislative and technical reports.
• Develop guidance and analyses to support statewide planning and rulemaking.
• Coordinate SEPA planning, environmental reviews, and public engagement activities.
• Represent Ecology in multi‑agency workgroups and public forums.
