Job summary

YO IT Consulting seeks a Geospatial Analysis Specialist to work remotely, designing and managing spatial databases, performing geoprocessing, and producing maps and insights for decision-making.

You will automate workflows with Python (PyQGIS), develop plugins, and deliver clear technical communications to internal and external stakeholders while collaborating with distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and maintain spatial databases and ensure data integrity and accuracy across projects.
• Conduct advanced geoprocessing and spatial modeling using QGIS and integrate results into actionable insights.
• Develop, customize, and maintain QGIS plugins and extensions tailored to project specifications.
• Automate geospatial analysis workflows using Python (PyQGIS) to improve efficiency and reproducibility.
• Prepare high-quality cartographic maps and visualizations for reports, presentations, and decision support.
