Qualifications

• Expertise in QGIS, including spatial database management, geoprocessing, and map production.
• Strong Python skills with PyQGIS for automation.
• Understanding of spatial projections, coordinate systems, and data transformation.
• Ability to customize QGIS via plugins or scripting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to produce professional cartographic outputs for decision making.
• Strong organization and attention to detail across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and maintain spatial databases with data integrity.
• Perform geoprocessing and spatial modeling in QGIS; translate results to insights.
• Develop and maintain QGIS plugins and extensions.
• Automate workflows in Python (PyQGIS) for efficiency and reproducibility.
