Job summary

Knowledge Services is seeking an experienced Fast/GenTax Programmer to work remotely on a long-term contract supporting the State of Maine through June 2027, with potential extension. Applicants must be based in EST or CST time zones.

Responsibilities include configuring the STARS application, performing analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation, and implementing SQR changes in FAST Gentax. Collaboration with other developers and code reviews are essential to deliver accurate tax

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of programming experience.
• Minimum 2-years of experience with FAST ENTERPRISES, LLC technology systems: GenTax, Fast DS-VS, Fast UI-PL, or Fast CSE.
• Experience with Fast Core components.

Responsibilities

• Configure the STARS application.
• Analyze, design, code, test, and document.
• Code enhancements and develop fixes to production problems per GenTax standards.
• Implement SQR changes in FAST Gentax and track in FCR.
• Coordinate with other developers and participate in code reviews and walkthroughs.
• Operate with minimal supervision to deliver accurate tax processing solutions.
