Job summary

Everlywell, Inc. is seeking experienced genetic counselors to provide telehealth genetic counseling consultations to patients with rare disease, pharmacogenetics, hereditary cancer, cardiogenetics and reproductive genetics.

The role is a contractor position requiring 20+ hours per week and licensure in at least 10 states (pref >20). Candidates will counsel patients via video/phone, prepare consult reports, and coordinate limited test ordering through lab portals, using literature to support care

Qualifications

• ABGC certification is required.
• Active licensure in at least 10 states (preferably >20).
• Must reside in the US.
• Experience counseling on whole exome sequencing and/or pharmacogenetics.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical genetic counseling experience.
• Bilingual speakers strongly desired.
• Minimum 5 hours of scheduled consults weekly with some evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-test genetic counseling via telephone or video.
• Generate consult summary reports for patient records.
• Coordinate limited test ordering through lab portals.
• Utilize peer‑reviewed literature and internal resources to guide counseling.
