Job summary

JoVE is seeking a Generative AI Video Specialist to turn scripts and storyboards into engaging educational videos using AI tools and traditional animation. You will collaborate with leads and content developers to maintain visual consistency with JoVE’s brand standards.

The role requires hands-on editing with Premiere Pro/After Effects, strong storytelling, and curiosity to adopt new AI workflows for efficient production.

Qualifications

• 1 year of hands-on video editing and motion graphics experience.
• Proficiency in English for clear collaboration.
• Strong understanding of composition, color, pacing, and storytelling.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI video tools (Google Flow, OpenAI).
• Degree in Animation, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Transform scripts and storyboards into AI-generated educational videos.
• Collaborate with leads and content developers to ensure brand consistency.
• Develop prompts and refine outputs for character actions and camera moves.
• Perform post-production, motion graphics, and quality enhancements.
