Job summary

Calbright College invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor (Generative AI). This part-time (67%) role is remote, with responsibilities to guide adult learners in a competency-based program. The instructor will customize instruction, provide substantive feedback, and help students become workforce-ready.

Under the Department Chair of Business, you’ll foster an inclusive, student-centric online learning environment and stay current with AI advances to tailor lessons and assessments.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring, training, or teaching adults.
• Expertise in Artificial Intelligence and currency in the field.
• Ability to customize instructional support for adults with diverse backgrounds.
• Strong understanding of Calbright’s competency-based education model.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, timely, quality, substantive, and constructive feedback to students.
• Monitors student progress and proactively offers support at key points of the student journey.
• Provides expertise in Artificial Intelligence and maintains current knowledge in their field.
• Fosters student learning through innovative, effective teaching practices.
• Responds urgently to meet students' needs and communicates professionally with students and the Calbright community.
• Uses technology-based teaching and communication platforms to support students in developing competencies.
• Collaborates with other professionals within the university to promote a student-centric atmosphere.
• Assess and validate student work based on mastery of industry skills.
• Encourage student engagement with peers, instructor, and learning resources.
• Offer weekly office hours, web chats, or learning sessions.
