Varsity Tutors is seeking GED Math tutors to work online with a national pool of students. You set your own schedule, work remotely, and earn competitive rates up to $40 per hour. Tutors are matched to students and can invoice for sessions, with payments handled promptly—up to twice a week.

Ideal candidates have advanced knowledge of GED Math, strong communication, and effective teaching strategies. You’ll leverage our Live Learning Platform and AI Tutor Copilot to enhance lessons and save prep

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of GED Mathematical Reasoning content and calculator use (TI-30XS).
• Ability to explain linear equations, graphing, area/volume formulas, and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online GED tutoring sessions.
• Translate word problems into mathematical expressions and explain steps clearly.
• Adapt instruction using diagnostic pretests and GED practice materials.
