Job summary

NTT America, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to lead design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and CD pipelines.

You will drive automation, reliability, and security for mission-critical applications in a demanding financial environment. You will architect scalable GCP infrastructure, manage IaC with Terraform, and build robust CI/CD using GitHub Workflows, while mentoring junior engineers and participating in on-call

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise with IaC and Terraform for provisioning and configuration management.
• Strong CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub Workflows.
• Experience collaborating with development teams to embed DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in automation, scripting, monitoring, and deployment across GCP.
• Knowledge of security best practices and data protection, including GCP Secret Manager.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship.

We are seeking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to lead the design,

implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure and continuous delivery pipelines. You will play a critical role in driving automation, enhancing system reliability, and ensuring the security and scalability of our mission-critical applications within a demanding financial environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Architect, design, implement, and maintain highly scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices, leveraging Terraform extensively for resource provisioning and configuration management

• Lead the development, optimization, and standardization of robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Workflows, ensuring efficient, reliable, and secure software releases

• Collaborate closely with development teams to embed DevOps practices, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure optimal application performance and stability

• Automate complex operational tasks and processes, reducing manual effort and improving overall system efficiency and reliability

• Develop and maintain advanced scripts and tools for infrastructure automation, monitoring and deployment across the GCP ecosystem

• Implement and enforce stringent security best practices, ensuring compliance and data protection across all infrastructure components and deployment processes, including the use of GCP Secret Manager

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members, fostering their growth and development

• Participate in on-call rotations and provide expert-level support for production systems, ensuring high availability and rapid issue resolution.(if requested)
