Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of energy project development or large capital construction experience with leadership in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Experience in EPC/EPCM project delivery, cost estimating, schedule development, and project risk management for gas generation projects.
• Experience with major equipment and EPC/EPCM contract procurement, including bid preparation, evaluation, negotiation, and award.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity in early-stage, origination-led development programs.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including executive management and public officials.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects day-to-day to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Lead gas project technology and commercial due diligence, assessing constructability and interconnection requirements.
• Identify E&C-specific risks including balance-of-plant options, equipment supply, and site constraints.
• Provide input into OEM and contractor meetings, site visits, and technology assessments for early consideration.
• Coordinate with E&C SMEs on interconnection requirements and regulatory milestones.
• Lead schedule development, capital estimate, and risk-adjusted cost positioning for project sanctions.
• Maintain an E&C risk register and flag scope changes that introduce risk.
• Support procurement, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation for major equipment and EPC/EPCM scopes.
