Weekday AI seeks a Funds Attorney for a remote, part-time engagement, translating deep investment funds experience into AI-enabled legal workflows. You will draft, review and redline fund documents and assess AI-generated responses.

You will collaborate with product, research and engineering teams to shape training data, identify contractual risks, and improve AI performance in fund formation and transactions.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 2 years in the Investment Funds practice group of a corporate law firm.
• Strong familiarity with LPAs, Subscription Agreements, and Side Letters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform simulated negotiations and redlining on fund documentation.
• Review AI-generated legal responses and provide feedback to improve model accuracy.
• Develop evaluation frameworks, rubrics, and quality standards for AI performance on fund tasks.
• Collaborate with product, research, and engineering teams on datasets and guidelines.
• Identify contractual risks and drafting issues with practical legal judgment.
• Contribute expertise to improve AI systems for legal research and contract review.
