Job summary

Bolder Apps is hiring a Full-Stack Web Developer to build production web products for US-based clients. You will own features end to end—from database and API to the React interface—using React and Next.js on the frontend and Node.js on the backend.

You will ship full-stack features, design backend services, build fast frontends, and work closely with PMs and clients. AI tools help accelerate work, but you own every line before it reaches production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production web apps with both backend and frontend written by you.
• Strong hands-on React experience.
• Next.js in production is a strong plus.
• Backend: Node.js or Python with a path to Node.js.
• Designed APIs, worked with relational databases, and handled auth/integrations.
• Fluency in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Git, testing, and careful production deploys.
• AI-augmented workflow with daily use of coding tools.
• Live client coordination in US hours.
• Honest estimates and clear blockers to deliver finished work.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features for client web products, from data model and API through to the React/Next.js interface.
• Design and maintain backend services and APIs in Node.js, including auth, integrations, background jobs, and database work.
• Create fast, accessible frontends with server rendering and routing where appropriate.
• Translate product briefs into working software, flagging scope or technical risks early.
• Use AI coding tools to accelerate delivery, then review and own every line before production.
• Keep code clean, tested, and documented for easy handovers.
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and US clients on estimates, trade-offs, and launch risk.
• Deploy, monitor, and fix production issues on the apps you build.
