Job summary

Mechabits is hiring a production web engineer to own features end-to-end, from UI to API, in a remote-first delivery team. You will ship reliable software for clients, participate in weekly demos, and contribute to thoughtful code reviews and handovers that clients can operate without us.

The role requires several years building production web apps with TypeScript, React, and Node.js, plus comfort with AWS/Azure/GCP and clear written English for async collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

Multiple years building production web applications.
Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
Excellent written English for async collaboration.

Responsibilities

Design and ship frontend and API features with clear ownership.
Improve accessibility, performance, tests, and DX.
Collaborate with design and product on weekly increments.
Mentor teammates through reviews and pairing.
Provide docs and handover notes for client operations.
