Job summary

Miva is seeking a seasoned full‑stack Web Developer to join our Professional Services team. You will translate client needs into technical requirements, build ecommerce storefronts on the Miva platform, and integrate with ERP/CRM systems using REST and SOAP APIs.

This client-facing role emphasizes delivering on scope and timelines with a strong emphasis on performance and accessibility. You will work remotely from the US, collaborating with a distributed team to implement complex storefront

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional web development experience, including ecommerce
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and vanilla JavaScript (ES6+) with DOM
• Working experience with PHP in a web development context
• Experience with SQL-based databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows
• Ability to work in a client-facing delivery environment and clearly communicate tradeoffs

Responsibilities

• Scope, estimate, and execute development tasks from client requirements and SOWs
• Develop and maintain eCommerce storefronts using HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript within Miva templates
• Maintain deep platform knowledge to apply optimal store configurations
• Build and support integrations between Miva stores and external systems via REST and SOAP APIs
• Troubleshoot frontend, backend, and configuration issues
• Optimize storefront performance, SEO, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Configure GA4 tracking and analytics
• Implement merchandising solutions and promotions
• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews and QA
• Follow deployment procedures across client environments
• Track time and communicate status and risks
• Perform other duties as assigned
