Job summary

Natera is seeking a Software Engineer, Full Stack, in San Carlos, CA on a six-month hybrid contract. You will design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications and data services that power our Sample Management and analytics platform, leveraging React, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, Snowflake, dbt, and AWS.

You’ll work with engineers, product managers, and designers to build scalable REST APIs and data pipelines, focus on user-friendly interfaces, and employ modern tooling like Docker, AWS

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience in web applications.
• Proficient with TypeScript, Python and FastAPI.
• Design RESTful APIs and scalable microservices.
• Experience with React frontend and Material UI.
• Hands-on with cloud AWS and data warehousing Snowflake/dbt.

Responsibilities

• Drive complex system design with architecture and product teams.
• Perform code reviews and mentor developers on best practices.
• Make design decisions for scalable, reliable systems.
• Translate requirements into scalable REST APIs.
• Build data pipelines and analytics support on Snowflake.
