Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, and deploy modern web applications. You will work within an Agile team to deliver secure, scalable software using Java/Spring Boot on the backend and Angular on the frontend, with a focus on cloud-enabled solutions in AWS.

You will collaborate across UI/UX, API design, and system modernization, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

BS in CS or related degree required.
2-4 years of experience in software development.
Agile development experience with Azure DevOps or Jira with Git repositories.
Active Secret clearance required; CompTIA Security+ / IAT II is a plus.
Experience with Java/Spring Boot, Angular, HTML5/CSS.
Experience with AWS cloud services.

Responsibilities

Full-Stack development using Java/Spring Boot for backend and Angular for frontend.
UI/UX implementation using HTML5, CSS, and Angular templates.
Cloud integration and deployment in AWS.
API development and consumption with REST/OpenAPI.
System modernization toward cloud-native architectures.
Quality assurance through testing, debugging, and optimization.
Active participation in Agile processes (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
