Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer to contribute to NCIS ITD projects. You will perform full stack development using C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and SQL Server, while refining requirements with stakeholders and supporting project managers.

The role emphasizes performance improvements and maintaining legacy systems. The position supports remote work within Eastern and Central US time zones and offers growth opportunities within a mission-critical government

Qualifications

• Security Clearance Level: Active Secret clearance required with 7+ years of full stack web development experience.
• Proficient in C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, and ORM with Entity Framework.
• Experience with XML/JSON, HTML5/CSS3, AJAX, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
• Experience with Telerik and web services.
• Ability to design overall layout and site architecture of web applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of software.
• Support stakeholder and product owner meetings to define requirements.
• Assist Project Manager on projects.
• Identify gaps in requirements and solve problems for staff.
• Determine sequencing of services and technologies for later project phases.
• Maintain legacy applications.
• Improve application performance and system availability.
• Develop full stack web apps using C#, ASP.NET MVC, and related tech.
• Support frontend design, layout, and navigation with HTML/CSS/JS.
• Maintain and enhance database schemas and stored procedures.
• Stay current on technologies through training and self-learning.
