Job summary

A5 Talent Finders is seeking a PostgreSQL Full Stack Engineer for our AI-powered product initiatives. You will develop across front-end and back-end using Node.js, Python, and PostgreSQL, collaborating with data scientists and designers to scale solutions for clients.

This remote East Coast-based role emphasizes startup experience, strong problem-solving, and opportunities to mentor engineers while shaping product direction. Only US Citizens and GC holders are eligible; visa candidates are not.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong back-end expertise with Node.js, Python, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience building products end-to-end in a startup.
• AI/ML experience is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement AI-powered products.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both front-end and back-end systems.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, and propose solutions to improve product performance and user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for their integration into our products.
• Work closely with the product team to define and prioritize features and functionality.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth and development of the engineering team.
