Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a remote full-stack developer to join a focused software team delivering a SaaS risk and compliance AI platform. You will implement features and fix production issues on a W2 basis with excellent benefits.

The role requires 7+ years of Java/Spring Boot experience, strong frontend skills with React/TypeScript, and hands-on AWS and Terraform expertise. You will work with Jira/Confluence, participate in reviews, and contribute to scalable web apps.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Java enterprise development with Spring Boot and JPA.
• Experience with Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Terraform (OpenTofu).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, EC2, and RDS (PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency with ReactJS, Material UI, and TypeScript.
• Experience building and supporting scalable web applications.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Nice to have: Spring AI experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new features and maintain production code for a SaaS risk and compliance AI platform.
• Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and JPA.
• Build and enhance frontend interfaces with React, Material UI, and TypeScript.
• Design and support scalable, high-quality web applications.
• Integrate and work with messaging systems including Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform (OpenTofu).
• Leverage AWS services such as S3, EC2, and RDS.
• Collaborate using Jira and Confluence to plan, track, and document work.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support.
• Complete onboarding activities, including a background check.
