National Quality Systems, Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their healthcare technology team. This fully remote U.S.-based role offers hands-on development of scalable backend microservices and modern web apps using Python and React.

The candidate will design databases, APIs, and cloud-native Azure solutions, while participating in CI/CD and DevOps practices. 5+ years of experience in full-stack development and healthcare domain expertise are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Healthcare domain experience (EHR/claims) is preferred.
• Backend: Python frameworks (Django, FastAPI, Flask) and microservices.
• Frontend: React, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, JavaScript.
• Databases: PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Strong Azure experience.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving and remote-work ability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend microservices and web applications using Python and React.
• Build and maintain SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) for efficient, secure data storage and retrieval.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and work with JSON, XML, and CSV for interoperability with EHRs, registries, and billing systems.
• Implement cloud-native solutions on Azure, including containerized services and infrastructure-as-code.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes to ensure efficient deployments and reliable operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical, product, engineering) to translate business and RCM requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the full stack.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, healthcare data standards, and regulatory requirements.
