Omitron, Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Collaboration team.

The role supports a Platform One environment, building plug-ins and integrations for Mattermost, with APIs, webhooks, and secure, reliable software in a fast-paced agile setting. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate user needs into practical collaboration features, deploy via CI/CD, and contribute to a security-first engineering culture while maintaining strong written and spoken

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline plus 5+ years of technical experience; relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Web application development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue, JavaScript).
• API development and implementation.
• Object-oriented programming languages (Go, Python, Java, C#).
• Database development (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience in an Agile SDLC environment (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe).
• GitOps and version control (Git).
• CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; proficient English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain plug-ins, extensions, and integrations for enterprise collaboration tools (e.g., Mattermost).
• Develop web front-ends and supporting services; integrate platforms with internal/third-party systems via APIs and webhooks.
• Write clean, testable code; participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Investigate and resolve issues across the collaboration tooling and its integrations.
• Collaborate with teams to translate workflows into practical collaboration capabilities.
• Deploy updates through CI/CD pipelines and provide user and engineer support.
