Job summary

Torus is seeking a highly capable Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and evolve the Torus platform. You will design, develop, and deliver scalable systems powering hardware‑software integration, customer applications, and internal tools, spanning front-end experiences and backend services.

You’ll own features from design through deployment, collaborating with Product, Firmware, Data Science, and other teams to deliver real-world impact in renewable energy.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in full-stack development with TypeScript.
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks: React, Next.js/Tanstack, Tailwind.
• Experience building backend services/APIs (Node.js or similar).
• Experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, IoT Core, ECS/Fargate, CDK).
• Solid understanding of software architecture, API design, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern technologies.
• Develop RESTful APIs, data models, and backend services.
• Create responsive front-end interfaces delivering exceptional UX.
• Contribute to system design, tradeoffs, and architecture discussions.
• Implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services and CI/CD pipelines.
