Job summary

Polarits is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong AWS engineering background to design, build, and maintain scalable end-to-end web applications. You will own everything from modern UIs to robust backend microservices, databases, and cloud deployments in a 100% remote, W2 role.

You will work with Node.js, Python, Java, or Go, leveraging AWS services and IaC, plus relational and NoSQL databases.

Qualifications

• Experience building server-side applications and microservices with Node.js, Python, Java, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, IAM, CloudWatch) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CDK/CF).
• Proven experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, RDS/Aurora) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CodePipeline) and automated testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Backend: Solid experience building server-side applications and microservices (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or Go).

AWS & Cloud Engineering: Hands-on experience with core AWS services (e.g., Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, IAM, CloudWatch) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CDK/CloudFormation).

Databases: Proven experience with both relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Amazon RDS/Aurora) and NoSQL solutions (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB).

DevOps & Tooling: Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline), and automated testing suites.

Strong problem-solving abilities and an understanding of distributed systems architecture.
