Job summary

Mondo is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to own real work from day one. This role is heavily backend-focused—roughly 80% Python, 20% React—with meaningful ownership of AWS infrastructure and AI integrations.

You’ll join a small engineering team where what you ship is visible immediately, and there’s no layer of process between you and the problem. The position is remote with travel roughly once a month, fully covered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with React frontend.
• Hands-on AWS infrastructure management.
• Experience designing REST APIs and integrating AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend applications in Python.
• Build and support React-based frontend features as needed.
• Configure and manage AWS environments.
• Design database schemas and secure REST APIs.
• Integrate AI capabilities into products and workflows.
• Collaborate with client services to translate needs into software.
• Own projects end-to-end from architecture to deployment.
