Genesis10 seeks a Full Stack Developer for a remote, 12+ month contract with a Global Financial Institution, supporting multiple U.S. locations. Strong Java/Python backend with Kafka and frontend skills (React/Angular) are required.

Expect designing, building, and maintaining scalable apps with microservices, REST APIs, and CI/CD. The role emphasizes distributed systems, security, and collaboration with cross-functional teams; candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong experience in Java and/or Python backend development.
• Strong experience in Apache Kafka / messaging systems.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications (frontend + backend).
• Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• Develop and maintain event-driven systems using Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, streams).
• Work with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps processes.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other developers.
• Perform code reviews, testing (unit/integration), and debugging.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance standards.
