Job summary

Brafton is a leading content marketing firm delivering SEO-driven content and digital experiences for clients worldwide. This full-time, 100% remote role focuses on building clean, performant interfaces and CMS backends to support frontend work.

You will develop custom WordPress themes and Gutenberg blocks, translate designs into accessible frontend code, and collaborate with designers, consultants, and clients to refine implementations across WordPress and Drupal platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• 3+ years building WordPress sites with Gutenberg blocks.
• Strong PHP (7.x/8.x) knowledge for WordPress/Drupal integrations.
• Practical Drupal theming and module-level work.
• Solid familiarity with WordPress hooks/filters and LAMP-stack conventions.

Responsibilities

• Build custom WordPress themes, Gutenberg blocks (ACF or React-based), and plugins from provided designs.
• Translate mockups into responsive, accessible frontend code using HTML, CSS/SASS, and modern JavaScript.
• Work within Drupal for client sites — theming, content types, and module-level troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and fix frontend and backend issues across CMS platforms.
• Collaborate with designers, consultants, and clients to refine implementations.
• Use Claude Code to plan and execute aspects of large projects.
